About Autumn Cathey
Hi, I’m Autumn.
I’m a Pacific Islander photographer based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Growing up in East Tennessee, I often felt a deep longing to explore my culture and others to connect with people, places, and stories beyond what I knew. That curiosity drives my work and shapes how I see the world.
I’m passionate about nature and the connection we share with the environment. Through my photography, I strive to capture authentic moments that reveal the complexity, beauty, and stories of the people and places I encounter. Whether it’s portraits or landscapes, my goal is to create work that feels real and meaningful.
I want my photos to help people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera while celebrating individuality, cultural diversity, and our shared relationship with the natural world. I enjoy collaborating with individuals, local businesses, and projects that value sustainability, inclusivity, and ethical practices.
Photography is my way of exploring the world and building connections. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to embrace new perspectives and appreciate the beauty in both difference and nature.
Thank you for visiting. I look forward to creating meaningful work together.
